Radiologists Attend PC Women in Politics Event

The Ontario Association of Radiologists were proud to be a part of the Ontario PC Women In Politics event last night 

The room was full of hard working, strong and inspiring women. Radiologists Dr. Yun Yee Chow and Dr. Tanya Chawla had valuable discussions about the state of health care and the importance of Radiology in Ontario with Health Minister Christine Elliott and Dr. Merrilee Fullerton, Minister of Training, Colleges and Universities. 

Thanks to both Drs. Chawla and Chow for being active and involved in the OAR’s effort to build a strong relationship with the Ford government. The OAR was the only obvious medical group in attendance at this key event intended to celebrate and recognise that one-third of the new PC caucus members are women.  Many of these new MPPs and Cabinet Ministers were elected for the first time.
